Sverre Rotevatn (born January 17, 1977 ) is a former Norwegian Nordic combined athlete .
Career
On January 8, 1996, Sverre Rotevatn made his debut in the B World Cup of Nordic Combined . In a Gundersen competition on the normal hill, which took place in Klingenthal , he took third place. In the following years he started several times in this competition series. In the 2001/02 season he won the overall ranking of the B World Cup after he had already achieved second place in 1999/00 .
Rotevatn participated in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 1996 in Italian Asiago part. In the team competition on February 3, 1996 he won the gold medal together with Preben Fjære Brynemo and Kristian Hammer . In the Nordic World Ski Championships 2001 in Finland's Lahti he repeated this together with Kenneth Braaten , Bjarte Engen Vik and hammer. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City Rotevatn also went to the start. The best results were a fifth place in the team competition and a 13th place in the sprint from the large hill.
Sverre Rotevatn contested his last international race on March 6, 2004 in Lahti.
