The Gregory Ridge is a ridge in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . In the Queen Maud Mountains , it extends from the northern Fram Mesa in a westerly direction and ends on the eastern flank of the Amundsen Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1960 to 1964. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1967 after Lieutenant Commander Nelson Bruce Gregory (* 1933), a pilot on flights to create Aerial photographs taken during Operation Deep Freeze in 1965.
