Musa Alami

Musa Alami (born May 3, 1897 in Jerusalem , † June 8, 1984 in Amman , Jordan ; Arabic موسى علمي, DMG Mūsā ʿAlamī ) was a Palestinian nationalist and politician.

Life

The son of a distinguished family studied at Trinity College in Cambridge law and then worked for the administration of justice of the British Mandate government , most recently as private secretary to General Arthur Grenfell Wauchope , the High Commissioner for Palestine in the 1930s.

His grandfather Musa Alami , like his father Faidi Alami, was mayor of Jerusalem .
