Rousset made his international debut in the 1997/98 season in the Nordic Combination B World Cup . In the first season he reached 74th place overall with seven points. After he was able to improve steadily in the 1998/99 season, he also made his debut in the Nordic Combined World Cup that season . Here, too, Rousset has already won its first points in its first competitions.
At the beginning of the 1999/00 season he clearly missed the points in Vuokatti in the individual as well as in the sprint. He then went back to the B World Cup for a competition, where he reached the first podium of his career in third. Back in the World Cup, he reached the points for the first time in Reit im Winkl in January .
Rousset did not achieve constant performance. He regularly made it into the points until the end of the season and at the end of the day reached 438 with 238 points, but then withdrew from the international competition and finally ended his active career.
