Zane Palmer (* 20th century) is a former American ski jumper .

Palmer competed in his first World Cup competition on March 11, 1984 in Oslo on Holmenkollen . With the 10th place on the large hill he was able to win his first World Cup points. Also in the second World Cup competition in Lake Placid he came 10th on the normal hill. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1985 in Seefeld in Tirol he was 40 on the large hill. In his first World Cup competition after the World Cup, he achieved the best individual placement of the season with 9th place in Lahti , which he placed 42nd in the overall World Cup ranking completed. On January 17, 1986 he reached 7th place on the large hill in Klingenthal . This was the highest individual result in a World Cup competition and also the last place in the top 10 in his career. After a rather unsuccessful remaining season and a moderate start to the 1986/87 season, he ended his active ski jumping career after the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1987 in Oberstdorf , where he reached 42nd place on the large hill and 52nd on the normal hill.
