Tadeusz Fijas is a former Polish ski jumper .

Career

At the national level, Fijas could only win the championship title once . He succeeded in 1982 in a team with Jan Łoniewski , Jarosław Mądry and Andrzej Kowalski for WKS Zakopane . In the individual competitions he was runner-up three times and third once.

Fijas made his international debut at the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1985 in Seefeld . He jumped 55th on the normal hill and 60th on the large hill. After the world championship he was nominated for ski flying on February 23, 1985 in Harrachov . He achieved his only podium finish with 3rd place. He was also able to win 15 World Cup points and finished the World Cup season 1984/85 together with Trond Jøran Pedersen in 40th place in the overall World Cup ranking.

Personal

Tadeusz is the younger brother of the ski jumper Piotr Fijas .
