Ole Gunnar Fidjestøl (born March 21, 1960 in Kristiansand ) is a former Norwegian ski jumper .

Career

Fidjestøl became world champion in ski flying in Oberstdorf in 1988 . In the same year he won the bronze medal in team jumping at the Winter Olympics in Calgary . Also with the team he was runner- up in 1987 and 1989 . Fidjestøl's greatest strength was ski flying. In addition to his only world championship title, he also won three of his four world cup victories on flying hills.
