Dennis Robert McGrane (born July 7, 1962 in Denver ) is a retired American ski jumper .

McGrane first started in the Four Hills Tournament 1983/84 in the Ski Jumping World Cup . He achieved his best placement in Bischofshofen with 18th place. Shortly after the tour he was able to achieve World Cup points for the first time in Lake Placid with 12th place. In Thunder Bay , Canada , he was able to jump into the top ten for the first time and last time with place 7.

At the Four Hills Tournament 1983/84 McGrane was unsuccessful. However, despite this, he was accepted into the United States' contingent for the 1984 Winter Olympics . McGrane jumped 33rd on the normal hill and 53rd on the large hill.

After the Winter Games, McGrane made it into the points several times. At the end of the 1983/84 World Cup season , he finished 45th in the overall ranking.

McGrane ended his career after four rather unsuccessful years with the start at the 1988 Winter Olympics . He reached the 43rd place on the normal hill. In the team competition, he finished tenth together with Ted Langlois , Mark Konopacke and Mike Holland .
