Christa Kirschbaum

Christa Kirschbaum (* 1961 in Dortmund ) is a German church musician .

Christa Kirschbaum studied Protestant church music at the Folkwang Musikhochschule Essen with Gerd Zacher , Gisbert Schneider and Manfred Schreier . After completing her A-exam, she supplemented her training with a vocal course. During her studies, she had held a part-time position in Essen-Werden since 1982 . She has been working full-time since 1986, first in Duisburg and since 1993 in Lippstadt . She worked on the national level in the hymn book committee and was appointed to the music committee of the Liturgical Conference of the EKD in 2003. In 2002 she was appointed church music director for her services . In 2011 she was appointed regional church music director of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau .
