Christel Vogel

Christel Vogel (born July 7, 1959 in Harzgerode ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Vogel completed an apprenticeship as an electrician . She graduated as a pipeline engineer through subsequent studies. She was the chairman of the works council and a project engineer before she was retrained as a PR assistant.

In 1990 Vogel was co-founder of the Bitterfeld district association of the Democratic Awakening Party . In 1992 she moved to the CDU and the CDA, where she was a member of the state executive board and the district executive committee or district chairwoman. She was chairman of the CDU parliamentary group in the city council of Wolfen and deputy parliamentary group chairman in the Bitterfeld district assembly. From 2002 to 2006 she sat in the state parliament of Saxony-Anhalt , after she had the direct mandate in the state electoral district of Wolfenwon. She was spokeswoman for the workers' group in the state parliament and consumer policy spokeswoman for the CDU parliamentary group. As a member of the district council in the Anhalt-Bitterfeld district, she is now the chairwoman of the youth welfare planning subcommittee and press spokeswoman for the CDU parliamentary group in the city of Bitterfeld-Wolfen.
