Christel Wagner-Watzlawski (born November 26, 1933 in Dortmund ) is a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After primary school, Christel Wagner-Watzlawski completed an apprenticeship as a dressmaker, which she completed in 1952 with the assistant test. From 1954 to 1967 she was a housewife. She attended the technical school for housekeepers and passed the exam there in 1967. From 1968 to 1970 she took over the management of the Young Housewives Club. She was also responsible for leading cooking and sewing courses at the adult education center. From 1972 to 1973 Wagner-Watzlawski trained as an administrative clerk at the Herford employment office. From 1974 to 1979 she then worked as an agent at the Herford employment office. In 1979 she became a trainer at the Wittekindshof vocational training center in Bad Oeynhausen.

Christel Wagner-Watzlawski has been a member of the CDU since 1971. She became a member of the CDU district committee in Minden-Lübbecke and deputy state chairwoman of the CDU women's association in North Rhine-Westphalia. Her other political offices: Deputy district chairwoman of the CDU women's association Ostwestfalen-Lippe, member of the district committee of the CDU women's association and chairwoman of the CDU women's association of the Hüllhorst municipal association. Christel Wagner-Watzlawski was also the deputy district chairwoman and deputy secretary in the East Westphalia-Lippe district of the Christian Democratic Workers' Union (CDA). Since 1975 she has been a member of the Reich Association of War Victims, Disabled People, Social Pensioners and Survivors eV, State Association of North Rhine-Westphalia. She acted as a member of the social policy committee of the state association of North Rhine-Westphalia, member of the social committee of the EKfW and member of the district board of the Lübbecke district. She has been a member of the ÖTV trade union since 1978.

Christel Wagner-Watzlawski was a member of the 9th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from May 29, 1980 to May 29, 1985 , to which she entered via the state list.
