Christer Thorn

Christer Thorn (born May 26, 1879 in the province of Skåne län , † June 25, 1956 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish Romance studies and didactic specialist.

life and work

Anders Christopher Thorn received his doctorate as a student of Fredrik Wulff in Lund in 1907 with the Étude sur les verbes dénominatifs en français . He was then a high school teacher and from 1909 to 1921 lecturer at Lund University . From 1921 to 1928 he taught French at the Naval School, from 1928 to 1937 Romance studies at Stockholm University . Thorn excelled in language geography and in French didactics.
