Christián Frýdek (born February 1, 1999 in Leverkusen ) is a Czech football player . The midfielder is under contract with Sparta Prague .

family

Frýdek is the son of the former soccer player and today's soccer coach Martin Frýdek . He played one season each from 1997 to 1999 at Bayer 04 Leverkusen and MSV Duisburg , which is why Christian Frýdek was born in Leverkusen. His older brother Martin is also active as a footballer for Sparta Prague.

In early October 2016, Frýdek was selected by the British Guardian as one of the 60 greatest talents in world football.

Career

Frýdek made his professional debut on November 20, 2016 on matchday 14 in a 3-0 win over MFK Karviná . On February 15, 2018, the second half of the 2017/2018 season was followed by a loan to the Czech second division club FC Sellier & Bellot Vlašim . It was used eight times. For the 2018/2019 season, the loan to FC MAS Táborsko was again transferred to a Czech second division club.
