The FC MAS Táborsko is a Czech football club from Sezimovo Ústí . He has been playing in the second highest Czech soccer league, the Fotbalová národní liga , since 2010 .

history

The FC MAS Táborsko was formed in 2012 when the FK Spartak MAS Sezimovo Ústí and the FK Tábor merged. The two cities of Sezimovo Ústí and Tábor are only a few kilometers apart.

DSK Tábor was founded in 1921 and last played in the fourth class Divize. The FK Spartak MAS Sezimovo Ústí was founded in 1926 and for a long time only played in the lower class. In 2000, the team was promoted to fourth-class Divize. Seven years later, the Spartak MAS Sezimovo Ústí acquired the third division license from Tatran Prachatice and thus played for the first time in the club's history in the ČFL. There, the team immediately took second place. In the following season, the 2008/09 season, Sezimovo Ústí landed eighth. A year later, he was promoted to the 2nd division . In the first second division year in the club's history, Sezimovo Ústí finished ninth. At the beginning of 2012, FK Spartak MAS Sezimovo Ústí merged with FK Tábor to form FC MAS Táborsko. The 2011/12 season was not very successful. Táborsko barely escaped relegation as fourth in the table. After being twelfth in the 2012/13 season, Táborsko played for a long time in 2013/14 for promotion to the Synot League , but finished third at the end of the season.

The team plays its home games at the Soukeník stadium in Sezimovo Ústí. In the medium term, a move to Tábor to the sports area on Kvapilova ulice is planned.
