Christian Albrecht (Brandenburg-Ansbach)
Christian Albrecht von Brandenburg-Ansbach (born September 18, 1675 in Ansbach ; † October 16, 1692 ibid) was margrave of the Franconian principality of Ansbach from 1686 to 1692.
Life
Christian Albrecht was the second son of Margrave Johann Friedrich von Brandenburg-Ansbach and came from his marriage to his first wife Johanna Elisabeth von Baden-Durlach . Because his older brother Leopold Friedrich had died at the age of two, Christian Albrecht took on the role of Hereditary Prince in the Principality of Ansbach in 1676 . At the time of his father's untimely death in 1686, he was still a minor and therefore came into his inheritance under a guardianship government. He died before he came of age and has therefore never ruled his principality himself. Since he had no offspring, his brother Georg Friedrich the Elder, who was also a minor, followed him . J. after as margrave.
