Christian Brunhart (politician, 1851)
Christian Brunhart (born October 7, 1851 in Balzers ; † September 2, 1911 there ) was a Liechtenstein politician .
biography
Christian Brunhart was a son of the Engel host Andreas Callistus Brunhart and his wife Nothburga (nee Schlegel). The later members of the state parliament, Josef and Heinrich Brunhart, were his brothers. He was a citizen of the Balzers community and, like his father, became the landlord of the Engel inn .
From 1876 to 1882 he was a member of the Balzers municipal council. From 1882 to 1885 he was vice chairman of the community and from 1885 to 1888 and from 1891 to 1894 community leader . He was also a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein from 1882 to 1890 . After he was deputy member of the state parliament from 1890 to 1894, he was again a member of the state parliament from 1894 to 1898. From 1881 to 1900 he was a lay judge in the lay judge's court.
In 1871 he married Maria Barbara Wolfinger. The marriage resulted in 15 children.
