Christian Cévaër (born April 10, 1970 in Nouméa , New Caledonia ) is a French professional golfer on the European Tour .
Cévaër attended Stevenson School in Pebble Beach , California and then received a golf scholarship from Stanford University , where he twice won the Pac-10 championships . In 1989 he won the French amateur championships, became a professional golfer in 1993 and then played mainly in Europe. First, he turned to the Challenge Tour , where he won two tournaments. He has been eligible to play on the European Tour since 2001 and has won two titles there so far.
