Christian Coulson

Christian Coulson (born October 3, 1978 in Manchester ) is a British actor .

Coulson attended Westminster School in London . From 1990 to 1997 he was a member of the youth organization National Youth Music Theater . He studied at the University of Cambridge until 2000 and successfully graduated with a degree in English . While still a student, he began to be active as an actor and took part in plays such as Cabaret and Der aufhaltsame Aufstieg des Arturo Ui .

His most famous film appearance was as Tom Marvolo Riddle aka the young Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets . In the following films he was unable to continue playing the role because, according to director David Yates , he was already too old at the age of 29.

Coulson has lived and worked in New York City since 2010 .
