Christian Drake
Christian "Chris" Drake , actually James Christian Droste , (born December 11, 1923 in Richmond , Virginia , † July 9, 2006 in Williamsburg , Virginia) was an American film actor.
Life
Christian Drake, often called Chris , was a soldier in the Marine Corps during World War II and was wounded in the Battle of Guadalcanal . In 1958 Drake married Margaret Shobe, with whom he stayed until his death. The couple had four children. Until 1990, Drake lived as a real estate agent in and around Palos Verdes , California. In 1992 he retired in his native Virginia.
Drake made numerous appearances on television series such as Lassie , Railway Detective Matt Clark, The Lone Ranger , Sheena, Wyatt Earp Intervenes and Miami Undercover from 1954 to 1961 .
