Christian Egemar
Christian Egemar (born May 6, 1937 in Slagelse , Denmark , † 2004 ) was a Norwegian film architect and set designer .
Life
Christian Egemar grew up in his hometown Slagelse, where he attended the commercial high school and completed a four-year training as a draftsman and decorator in a department store. In 1959 he moved to Norway, where he found work in an advertising agency. A year later he found a job as a production designer at the Norwegian television broadcaster Norsk rikskringkasting . Until 1987 he worked there mainly for the television series Fjernsynsteatret , which was mainly responsible for the filming of theater plays. At the same time he was employed as a production designer for Den Nationale Scene in Bergen .
Egemar was married to the actress Kjersti Germeten . His brother-in-law was the composer Gunnar Germeten jr.
