Christian Ferdinand von Koenitz

Christian Ferdinand Freiherr von Könitz (* 1756 ; † January 14, 1832 in Meiningen ) was Saxony-Coburg landscape director from March 20, 1800 and a Saxony-Meining civil servant since 1802 .

Life

Christian Ferdinand came from the von Könitz family . In 1784 the village of Untersiemau was awarded to him as a knight's fief. He was a lord of the manor on Herreth , today a part of Itzgrund .

From 1802 Christian Ferdinand von Koenitz was the ducal chamberlain of Saxony-Meining and a real secret councilor. His matriculation in the Kingdom of Bavaria with the Freiherrn class took place on May 8, 1818.

In 1826 he was appointed Minister of State in the Meiningen State Ministry. At the gates of Meiningen he had a villa built with a spacious park with an estate called Jerusalem .

His successor as Meiningen Minister of State was Friedrich von Krafft .
