Christian Friedrich Karl Herzlieb

Christian Friedrich Karl Herzlieb (born 1760 in Warsaw ; died 1794 ) was a German Protestant theologian , writer and translator of Horace . He was the father of Minna Herzlieb , a friend of the poet Goethe . From 1778 he studied in Halle . In 1786 he became second cathedral preacher in Brandenburg , in 1788 royal Prussian inspector and chief preacher of the main church in Züllichau .
