Christian Höfer (born May 21, 1922 in Selb ; † November 21, 1988 ) was a German local politician ( SPD ).

Höfer came as the son of the unskilled worker Anton Höfer and his wife Lisette, nee. Schoden, to the world. From 1956 to 1988 he was Lord Mayor of the city of Selb. In his last term of office as Lord Mayor, which began in 1984, he could no longer exercise his office from 1987 to 1988 due to a serious illness, so that it was taken over by his future successor Werner Schürer .
