Christian Henel (born January 28, 1988 in Bad Dürkheim ) is a German soccer player .

Career

Christian Henel began his career at SV 1911 Bad Dürkheim. At the age of 15, he moved to 1. FC Kaiserslautern in 2003 . There he played in the youth teams until 2006 and finally in the second team, where he had 10 missions in the first year and scored two goals.

In the following season he was part of the professional squad of the FCK. On the 6th matchday of the 2007/08 season, he came in the last 10 minutes of the game against Freiburg with a 0-1 deficit as an additional striker. After only two missions in the entire season, however, he was relegated to the second team in the following season.

For the 2010/11 season Henel moved to the regional league team SV Darmstadt 98 . Here he was often used in the position of a defensive midfielder. He had to leave the club after the successful promotion to the 3rd division. In August 2011 he joined the regional division Wormatia Worms . In September 2012 he joined KSV Hessen Kassel as a clubless player . For the 2014/15 season he moved to FK Pirmasens (Regionalliga Südwest). The contract was terminated by mutual consent at the beginning of October 2014. After he was not under contract with any club for the rest of the season, he was active for TuS Rüssingen in 2015/16. In March 2017 he joined the upper division TuS Mechtersheim . In the 2017/18 season he plays for the A division TSG Deidesheim.

In 2006 Henel played five games for the German U-18 national team .
