Christian Imhof aka Chris Bluemoon (born March 11, 1988 in Jenaz ) is a Swiss musician , author and journalist from Prättigau .

Life

Christian Imhof grew up in Prättigau.

Imhof works full-time as a freelance journalist for the newspapers “ Liechtensteiner Vaterland ”, “ Werdenberger & Obertoggenburger ”, “Lie: Zeit”, “DieOstschweiz” and “ Sarganserländer ”. Since June 2019 he has also been editor-in-chief, founder and publisher of the online magazine “Qultur”. Imhof is married and lives in Untervaz.

Imhof was a member of the meanwhile defunct bands “Virus of the Cactus”, “Godless Creation”, “Insomnia Rain”, and producer of the “Bock uf Rock”, “Bock uf Rap” and “Bock uf Metal” compilations, the appeared on his label Bluemoon Musix Productions . Since 2011 he has appeared as a solo artist under the pseudonym "Chris Bluemoon", which is derived from the phrase "Once in a bluemoon". For the first time, his musical activities attracted greater media attention through the publication of various compilations from 2008. Bluemoon made the jump into the hit parade for the first time in November 2018 with his third solo album “ZooM”, which entered the official Swiss hit parade at number 24.

In 2019 Imhof won the competition for professional cultural creation in the canton of Graubünden.
