Christian Kullmann

Christian Kullmann (born March 14, 1969 in Gelsenkirchen ) is CEO of Evonik Industries AG.

Life and professional history

Kullmann studied economic history at the University of Hanover from 1990 to 1994. From 1994 he worked at Deutsche Vermögensberatung AG in Frankfurt am Main . In 1996, Kullmann moved to Dresdner Bank , where he held various positions in the general secretariat. From 2000 he was Head of Public Relations / Public Affairs. Kullmann moved to RAG AG in 2003 , where he was head of the central communications & executive office. Kullmann has been with Evonik Industries AG since 2007. In 2014 he became a member of the board. From May 6, 2016, he was Deputy Chairman of the Management Board. Kullmann has been CEO since May 24, 2017. Kullmann is also still on the Supervisory Board of Borussia Dortmund GmbH & CO and has been its deputy chairman since August 28, 2019. Since March 2020 he has also been President of the VCI .
