Christian Linder

Christian Linder (born February 9, 1949 in Lüdenscheid ) is a German writer ; Essayist , critic and radio play author .

Life

Christian Linder studied philosophy and literature in Bonn . Since 1974 author of Deutschlandfunk , he also worked from Cologne for the features and literature of the Süddeutsche Zeitung , wrote travel reports for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and radio plays for the WDR. Promotion Prize for Literature from the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and Promotion Prize from the City of Cologne. Among other things, he published a volume with travel stories in DuMont Buchverlag, The Castle in the Clouds: Views into the Rhine Valley and elsewhere, and in the publishing house Matthes & Seitz Berlin Der Bahnhof von Finnentrop: A journey to Carl Schmitt Land , a biography about Heinrich Böll : Das Schwirren of the approaching arrow , the volume of essays Notes to the Edge of Life: Portraits and Perspectives and finally the Capriccio Summer Music: A Dream of Franz Liszt .
