Christian Mehofer

Christian Mehofer (born February 14, 1963 ; † May 3, 2012 ) was an Austrian cameraman and documentary filmmaker .

Mehofer worked as a cameraman since 1989, including for ORF . He was a member of the Association of Austrian Cinematographers (AAC).

Important works by Mehofer were the documentaries Licht-Gestalten - Vienna, Capital of Projection (2008; camera) and Romy Schneider - A woman in three notes (2008; camera) as well as the feature film The Third Minute (2002; director). He became internationally known with the documentary Hidden Fuhrer: Debating the Enigma of Hitler's Sexuality (2004, camera).
