Christian Mohr (football player)

Christian Mohr (born April 5, 1980 in Aachen ) is a qualified sports scientist and former American football player . As a defensive end he was with the Seattle Seahawks , the Philadelphia Eagles , the Indianapolis Colts and the Cleveland Browns in the National Football League under contract, where he did not complete any of the teams NFL games.

Life

In 2001, the then 19-year-old Christian Mohr was signed to the Düsseldorf Panther for the German Football League (GFL). In 2005 he signed a two-year contract with the Seattle Seahawks. Due to the different seasonal seasons Mohr was able to play an additional 32 games for the Berlin Thunder and another 10 for Rhein Fire in the NFL Europe between 2004 and 2007 , winning the World Bowl with Berlin Thunder . Due to a protracted injury, Christian Mohr was never used there despite a contract signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2007 . In the summer of 2008 he again signed a contract in the NFL with the Cleveland Browns and returned after a season in the second half of the 2009 season in the GFL to Kiel Baltic Hurricanes. In the 2010/2011 season he was under contract with the Mönchengladbach Mavericks. Christian Mohr ended his active career as a member of the unbeaten Calanda Broncos and won the highest European club title with the team in 2012 - the Eurobowl.

Mohr graduated from the German Sport University Cologne . He is the founder of the training provider MorePowerConcept in Aachen. He is also active as an athletics and personal trainer and looks after competitive and amateur athletes.
