Christian Oeyen
Christian Oeyen (* 1934 in Antwerp ) is a German old Catholic theologian.
Life
He grew up in Argentina . After studying Catholic theology in La Plata and Rome , he was ordained a priest in the Roman Catholic Church in 1958 . After receiving his doctorate in theology in 1961, he moved to the Catholic Diocese of Old Catholics in Germany in 1967. He was a research assistant at the Old Catholic Seminary in Bonn and as a pastor in Konstanz . After his habilitation in 1972 in Bern , he taught from 1972 to 1996 as professor and director of the Old Catholic Seminar at the University of Bonn .
