Christian Pérez , full name Christian Elizardo Pérez Gómez , (born May 18, 1990 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.73 meter tall midfielder Pérez was at the beginning of his career from 2008 to mid-2010 in the ranks of the reserve team (Formativas) of Defensor Sporting . Then he is a member of the club's professional team. In January 2013 he was loaned to Central Español . There he played a first division game in the Clausura 2013 (no goal). In mid-2013 he returned to Defensor Sporting. At the beginning of February 2014, he moved to Club Atlético Torque , for which he played 25 games in the Segunda División across seasons in the two second division seasons 2013/14 and 2014/15 and scored one goal. In July 2015, the first division River Plate Montevideo signed him . After he only made one appearance (no goal) in the Primera División in Apertura 2015 , he joined the Rampla Juniors on loan in mid-February 2016 . At the club, which is also based in Montevideo, he contributed ten second division games (no goal) to promotion to the top Uruguayan league at the end of the season. He then returned to River Plate Montevideo and continued his career at the second division club Atlético Progreso from mid-July 2016 . For this he completed nine personally goalless second division games in the 2016 season.
