The Christian River is a 230 km long right tributary of the Yukon River in central Alaska .

It rises in the Interior east of Arctic Village south of the Brooks Range at Shark Edge Mountain , flows south and flows into the Yukon River 27 km west of Fort Yukon in the cutoff Slough . The Christian River runs east of the Chandalar River .

The name comes from prospectors and was documented in 1909 by AG Maddren of the United States Geological Survey .
