Christian Seltmann

Christian Seltmann (born June 21, 1968 in Lüdenscheid ) is a German translator and author of children's books in particular .

Life

In addition to studying social and economic history at the Ruhr University in Bochum, Christian Seltmann worked as a radio journalist in North Rhine-Westphalia from 1989 to 1994 . After completing his studies, he was employed as an editor for a stage publisher. In 1997 Seltmann moved to Berlin and in 1999 worked as an editor at Pro7-TV in Munich. From 2000 to 2002 Seltmann worked for an animation company. Since then he has been working as a freelance writer. Seltmann taught as a guest lecturer at the TU Berlin from 2006 to 2008. His piece of rebellion! was performed in 1995 in the Theater am alten Markt Bielefeld. Since 1996 he has been translating Martin McDonagh's plays with Martin Molitor .
