Christian Signol (* 1947 in Les Quatre-Routes-du-Lot , Département Lot ) is a French writer.

life and work

From 1965 Signol studied law, among other things, and was able to successfully complete this degree in 1970. In the same year he married and settled with his family in Brive-la-Gaillarde ( Corrèze department ). His first texts were written during his studies, but for a long time his work as a municipal employee was still considered a bread-and-butter job.

It was not until 1984 that Signol made a very successful debut with his novel Les Cailloux bleus . He was able to surpass this success in 1990 literary as well as economically with his trilogy La Riviere espérance . The film adaptation by Josée Dayan for France 2 also contributed to this .
