Christian Stang

Christian Manfred Stang (* 1975 in Regensburg ) is a German postal worker, specialist book author and linguist. He works in the orthography and standards advice center at the Center for Language and Communication at the University of Regensburg .

Stang acquired his linguistic knowledge through self-study. He was seconded by Deutsche Post AG to the University of Regensburg, where he works as a spelling advisor. In 2008 he was awarded the Culture Prize of the City of Regensburg . He was also awarded the Medal of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany.
