Christian Stooß

Christian Stooß (born December 17, 1879 in Vienna , † November 28, 1958 in Bludenz ) was an Austrian politician ( LB ) and farmer. From 1923 to 1928 he was a member of the Vorarlberg state parliament .

Live and act

Stooß was born the son of Johann Stoss and his wife Anna Maria Kessler. He married Maria Maier (1885–1952) from Nenzing on April 27, 1908 in Nenzing and was the father of nine children, eight sons and one daughter, who were born between 1909 and 1924.

Stooß worked as a farmer and was also head of the Nenzing community from 1919 to 1923 . As a member of the Landbund, he was a member of the Vorarlberg Landtag from November 6, 1923 to April 1, 1928, where he was a member of the Agriculture Committee and at times a member of the "Committee for the painting of the Landtag meeting room".
