Christian Viktor Herold

Christian Viktor Herold , also Christian Viktor von Herold, (* 1698 ; † 1775 ) was a German bell caster , red smith and piece caster .

Herold was born as the eldest son of the Nuremberg bell founder Johann Balthasar von Herold . His grandfather and his brothers was on March 16, 1654 by Ferdinand III. awarded a letter of nobility. After the death of his father in 1727, he took over his foundry. He died childless in 1775. He was the last person in the family to be a bell-maker.
