Christian Walgram

Christian Walgram (born November 4, 1981 ) is an Austrian photographer and works for the sports picture agency GEPA pictures.

Christian Walgram won first prize in the “Sports singles” category at the World Press Photo Award 2016. This is the first time an Austrian has won the prestigious award. His picture shows the fall of the Czech Ondřej Bank during the Alpine World Ski Championships in Beaver Creek on February 8, 2015.
