Christian Wolff (politician)

Christian Wolff (born December 4, 1931 in Ikendorf near Broderstorf ) is a German politician (FDP). He was a member of the state parliament in Lower Saxony.

Wolff's family lost their farm in Pomerania in 1945 when it was expropriated. They then moved to West Germany, where Wolff graduated from high school in Hanover in 1952. This was followed by a two-year agricultural apprenticeship and from 1954 to 1958 studying agriculture in Berlin and Kiel. After graduating, he worked as an assistant at the Institute for Agricultural Sciences. From 1961 to 1965 he was managing director of the Stadt und Land eV Lower Saxony. Since 1966 he has worked in the fields of agricultural marketing and agricultural journalism. From 1972 Wolff was an editor in the land radio of the NDR Hanover. In 1971 he joined the FDP and from 1972 he was also councilor of the Bennigsen community. From 1974 he was on the city council of Springe, of which he was mayor from 1976. From 1974 he was also the first deputy district administrator in the district of Hanover. In the eighth electoral term, he was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from February 9 to June 20, 1978.
