Christiane Geldmacher

Christiane Geldmacher (born December 17, 1959 in Wiesbaden ) is a German author , freelance journalist and freelance editor.

Life

Geldmacher studied German, American, theater, film and television studies and philosophy at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . She worked as an editorial assistant at Vieweg Verlag and later switched to the publishing house for economics, architecture & tourism in Wiesbaden as an editor . In a year abroad she worked as a German lecturer at the English Institute of the Silesian University in Sosnowiec . She taught German language, literature and creative writing for various educational institutions. As a freelance lecturer, she is a member of the VFLL Association of Independent Lecturers.

family

Geldmacher's father is the jazz musician and clarinetist Dietrich Geldern ; her uncle is the light artist Klaus Geldmacher . She is the descendant of the educator and educator Christian Gotthilf Salzmann .
