Christiane Leister

Christiane Leister (* 1955 ) is a Swiss entrepreneur and economist . It is on the “balance sheet” list of the 300 richest in Switzerland. She has visited more than 60 countries for professional or business reasons.

Career

After completing her degree in economics at Christian Albrechts University in Kiel , Christiane Leister began her professional career at Jungheinrich . She then headed the controlling and finance departments at Vereinigte Papierwerke AG and Milupa AG. In 1989 she took on strategic and operational tasks in the Leister family company. Since 1993 she has been the owner of the Leister company, which she also managed operationally until 2014, diversified with new technologies and expanded it internationally to form the Leister Group. In 2017 she joined the ETH Board . Christiane Leister is also a member of the following bodies: Board of Directors Amphasys AG, Strategic Advisory Board Artmyn SA, Advisory Board Venture Foundation and Jury Swiss Economic Award .
