The Christie Peaks are a striking group of pointed mountains on the Rymill Coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . They rise up in the northern part of the Batterbee Mountains immediately south of the mouth of the Ryder Glacier in George VI Sound .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the group on July 21, 1976 Timothy Julian Churchill Christie (* 1934), geodesist of the British Antarctic Survey on Stonington Island from 1970 to 1971.
