‣ Topic  overview

The Christina piercing is a female genital piercing .

It is in the vertical fold ( Commisura labiorum anterior ) of the above converging labia majora engraved and emerges at the mons again. For anatomical reasons, it is not possible for every woman.

history

Like many other surface piercings, the Christina piercing is a relatively new form of piercing . A first documented Christina piercing was done in the 1990s by the piercing pioneer Tom Brazda in Stainless Studios and named after the person who wore it.

impact

Unlike the clitoral hood piercing or the Nefertiti piercing , the piercing does not have a sexually stimulating effect . It has a purely visual appeal. When there is pressure, for example when wearing tight trousers, it can sometimes be perceived as uncomfortable.

cure

The piercing takes much longer to heal than many other piercings. It can take 6 to 12 months for a Christina to heal completely. Since it is a surface piercing, complications can arise during the healing phase. Due to the position of the piercing, the piercing canal is exposed to a lot of movement and friction. If the Christina piercing is not pierced deep enough, it can grow out. The piercing should not be removed for the intimate shave while healing. If it has healed completely, it can be removed before shaving.
