Works
His poetry collections are characterized by musicality.
- Falk sonnets (Sokolské Sonety) - First collection of poems. It is mostly about verses of appeal with decadent basic features.
- Late in the morning (Pozdě k ránu) - The collection captivates with its musical variety of sounds, achieved through repetition of words and your own rhyme. He tries to suggest a mood to the reader and uses the sounds of words. He uses images of unreal landscapes in twilight. The poems are melancholy and sad. A typical work of Czech symbolism.
