Christine Brinck

Christine Brinck is a German journalist and author .

Life

After studying literature , Brinck received his doctorate in 1976 from the English Open University at the University of Hamburg . She then went to the United States to do postdoctoral research on American higher education.

She worked as a reviewer in the field of comparative university research. Her journalistic work at Die Zeit , Süddeutsche Zeitung , Die Welt , FAZ , Tagesspiegel was mainly in the field of education and society .

From 1998 to 2010 Brinck was a member of the jury for the USable transatlantic ideas competition of the Körber Foundation . She was a member of the board of trustees of the START Foundation and the advisory board of the Ernst Ludwig Ehrlich Studienwerk . She is the author and editor of various books at Rowohlt, Herder and Berlin Verlag.

Brinck is married to Josef Joffe and has two daughters.
