Christine Csar

Christine Csar (born September 17, 1957 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actress and theater director .

After graduating from high school, she worked as a secretary in a travel agency and thus financed her acting training at Krauss. In 1978 she got her first engagement at the Landesbühne Wilhelmshaven , where she worked until 1980. There she played Luise in Kabale und Liebe , Regine in Gespenster , Charlie in The New Sorrows of Young W. and Bianca in The Taming of the Shrew .

In 1980 she came to the Stadttheater Würzburg , where she appeared as Leni in Italian Night , Raina in Helden , Mädchen in Outside the Door and Selma Knobbe in Die Ratten . In 1982 she moved to the Theater der Jugend in Vienna. There she embodied Nicole in The Citizen as a Nobleman and Clarice in The Servant of Two Masters .

Since 1998, Csar has worked regularly as an actress, assistant director and director at the festival of the open-air theater at Neersen Castle near Willich .
