Christine Feehan

Christine King Feehan (* in California ) is an American author of romance novels .

Life and professional development

Christine Feehan grew up with three brothers and ten sisters, who were also the first readers of her stories. She is married to Richard Feehan and has eleven children. In addition to writing, she taught martial arts and self-defense . She has three black belts in the Korean style Tang So Do Mu Duk Kwan and other ranks in other styles.

She is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling writer and has published four series. She publishes with Leisure Books, Pocket Books ( imprint of the publishing house Simon & Schuster ) and Berkley Books ( Penguin Random House ). She is a member of the Romance Writers of America .

Awards

Her first publication, Dark Prince , won three out of nine Paranormal Excellence Awards in Romantic Literature (Pearl) in 1999. For other works she received seven other Pearl Awards.
