The franchize boyz
Dem Franchize Boyz , also DFB is an American hip-hop - band that was active from 2004 to 2009 and released three studio albums.
Band history
While in high school , group members Gerald Tiller, Bernard Leverette, Maurice Gleaton, and Jamall Willingham came together in Atlanta. With the single White Tee’s and the accompanying debut album named after the formation, they entered the US pop and R&B charts. However, the quartet had the greatest success with the second long player On Top of Our Game and the two releases I Think They Like Me , a feature with Jermaine Dupri , Da Brat and Bow Wow , and Lean wit It, Rock wit It , a collaboration with Lil Peanut and Charlay. The album and the single I Think They Like Me were each awarded a gold record , Lean wit It, Rock wit It even went platinum . Thereupon the interest in the music of the Dem Franchize Boyz decreased more and more. The third album Our World, Our Way and various single features with other artists could not build on previous successes.
In 2009 the group worked with the German rapper Kool Savas . The joint track Brainwash 2 appeared on the Brainwash edition of the album The John Bello Story 2 .
