Christine Wernicke

Christine Wernicke (* 1960 in Neukloster ) is a German politician ( BVB / Free Voters ). She has been a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament since 2019 .

In 2008 Wernicke was elected mayor of Uckerland . Their re-election in 2016 failed due to a difference of 21 votes. An appeal by the Free Voters against the election result was rejected by the Potsdam Administrative Court. In May 2019 she was elected to the district council for the BVB / Free Voters in the Uckermark district.

Wernicke achieved in the state elections in Brandenburg in 2019 the BVB / Free list of voters moving into the 4th place Brandenburg parliament .
