Christof Wynistorf (born March 6, 1985 in Burgdorf ) is a Swiss paracycler .

Christof Wynistorf has been blind since 2008. He was an agricultural machinery mechanic by profession ; he worked on his parents' farm and did motocross as a hobby . After going blind, he attended a school for the blind in Basel , completed training as a medical masseur and got a job at the Federal Office for Sport in Magglingen . In Basel he started running training with the help of a guide and competed in fun runs. 2017 he went on the cycling track in Grenchen first time on a tandem and found Hervé cancer , the Swiss BMX -Bundestrainer, a suitable pilot .

At the beginning of 2018, Wynistorf and Krebs started regular training together. In the same year the tandem duo became Swiss champions in the 1000 meter time trial on the track; In the time trial on the road, Wynistorf and Krebs took second place. Due to their great increase in performance within one year, they were nominated for the UCI Paracycling World Championships 2019 in Apeldoorn . In October 2019, the duo Wynistorf / Krebs became Swiss Paracycling champions over 1000 meters Swiss champions.
